Transformation Excellence

​This year, for our headline award, we are looking for organisations who have made step changes in the ways they work, delivering a benefit to their customers and employees through a transformation in the way they do things. This step change could be to the culture you work in, the process you work on, the systems you work with or a combination of all three.  This category is methodology and framework agnostic. We’d love to see entries that have used a well-structured, thought-through approach which has delivered a sustainable impact. This includes recognised frameworks such as EFQM, Lean and Agile or an internally designed approach. If you have a great transformation story to tell, this the award for you.

Project Delivery

​A new category for 2023 which recognises excellent projects large or small.  We don’t mind what method or approach you have used, what we want to see is a structured way of working, some great stakeholder management, brilliant teamwork and, of course, excellent outcomes.  Get the project team together to create your entry and share the story of your project and the results you achieved.

Excellence in Continuous Improvement Culture

Have you started on the journey towards creating a continuous improvement culture in your organisation?

This category is looking for organisations who are embedding a new way of working where improvement is at the heart of what you do – we are looking for teams who really understand their customers, have regular conversations about how they are performing, use data to drive problem-solving, ensure processes are reviewed, documented and kept up to date , and most importantly of all encourages everyone to get involved in improving the way things work every day.”

Excellence in Lean Six Sigma

In this category we are looking for great Six Sigma projects. Not only will your project have a great storyboard which talks us through the logical path you followed through the DMAIC framework and the excellent results you achieved, but you will be able to show how you engaged stakeholders, implemented change whilst applying rigorous statistical analysis to solve a problem.

Excellence in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion

If you, as an organisation, are passionate about creating a culture which embraces and promotes equality, diversity and inclusion then come and share your story.  We are looking for organisations or teams who are taking Diversity and Inclusion beyond motivational speeches and mandatory training and really involving the organisation at every level to create a sense belonging for everyone.

Are you continuously striving to make things better for your customer; to respond to their changing needs, find ways of delighting them and always staying ahead of the competition? Working together we can achieve more than the sum of our parts. Have you got excellence examples of working together with other organisations to achieve amazing outcomes? This could be working with charities, academic institutions, government or industrial suppliers, customers and partners on shared problems and joint projects. This category recognises excellent leaders who have proven themselves in a range of senior leadership positions and who have consistently gained recognition and positive feedback for the way they manage their people, put in place sustainable processes and achieve excellent results.

In this category we are looking for individuals who are making an impact in an early leadership role. Nominate the leaders who are inspiring you with their leadership style, their ability to coach and bring on their team, and their ability to get everybody working in the same direction. We want leaders who are able to achieve results through their people and the great supporting processes they put in place.

Do you work with somebody who goes above and beyond, delivering value with everything they do and consistently exceeding expectations?
