Programme and Project Management (PPM)

To successfully deliver change initiatives on time, meeting budget and within scope, project and business managers need to have a good understanding of the key principles of programme and project management.

Although there are numerous project management methodologies and systems, we have taken, from them, the common themes and best approaches and advocate the use of critical key tools which will significantly increase the likelihood of project success whether you are line manager overseeing a project of a full time experienced project manager.

Introductory workshop on Programme and Project Management

A one-day introduction, part of the BQF workshop series or delivered as a bespoke session for your team, that examines the core components of any project life cycle – and the key tools you’ll need as a project manager to drive your project to a successful conclusion.

It will be energetic and interactive with lots of hands-on examples and will allow you to share personal experiences and hear from others in a supportive environment.

Programme and Project Management – training for non-PPM professionals

Aimed at aspiring project managers, or those who manage small projects within their operational role, this two-day course will give you the fundamental skills needed to manage a project from beginning to end.

Programme and Project Management – training and accreditation for PPM professionals

Level 1 – Project and Programme Manager, BQF Accreditation

Aimed at junior project managers or those looking for an opportunity to refresh and reflect on core project management principles, this course will equip you with the fundamental skills required to manage a project from start to finish.

Delegates can also take an additional option of further coaching surgeries and assessment for certification.

Level 2: Advanced Programme and Project Manager, BQF Accreditation

A three-day course aimed at junior project managers or those looking to move into the profession, this course will equip you with the fundamental skills required to manage a project, as well as the soft skills necessary to ensure the project is effective.

Delegates can also take an additional option of further coaching surgeries and assessment for certification.

Level 3: Master Programme and Project Manager, BQF Accreditation  

A three-day course aimed at experienced project and programme practitioners. You’ll have the opportunity to learn and share your experiences, refresh your knowledge, reflect on learning and successes in an objective light, as well as practising the tools in a fun environment.
