SafeMove achieves EFQM Recognised for Excellence (R4E)

Thu, 26/03/2020 - 13:12

SafeMove has successfully achieved a 5-star EFQM Recognised for Excellence (R4E) following a rigorous assessment in March 2020. EFQM Recognised for Excellence is Europe’s leading recognition programme for organisational performance, and forms part of the EFQM Levels of Excellence.

Yorkshire Water’s SafeMove are the data source and provider of The Law Society endorsed CON29DW official drainage and water conveyancing report for the Yorkshire and North Humberside region. Formed in 2001, SafeMove provides around 90,000 search reports each year to the conveyancing industry as well as drainage and clean water asset record plans to the architectural and ground works sector.

SafeMove has gained a great deal of experience using the model and their maturity has grown over the 7 years they’ve been BQF members, helping them to become UK Excellence winners in 2018. Specifically, the model has brought an improved holistic approach to strategies, ensuring results and stakeholder needs are continually fed back into their approaches. Shared learning, experiences and benchmarking from and to other organisations have been pivotal to their business and EFQM journey.

Vicky Farrell, Service Delivery Manager at SafeMove said:

I am incredibly proud that we have maintained our R4E 5* Status following our re-assessment in early March. Having worked with the EFQM model for around 10 years now there are countless examples of how using the model has improved our business in many aspect from Strategy, leadership, benchmarking and business performance. It’s changed our thinking and behaviours in a way that it’s now just part of how we operate and although we will address our areas for improvement I am so pleased we have achieved this result! I look forward to continuing to succeed using the model and its network of members to share best practice and further improve in the years ahead.

The BQF Lead Assessor added:

SafeMove are role models for how consistent use of the EFQM Model as tool over a long period of time can help you build sustainability and continuous improvement into your organisation. The assessors were hugely impressed by the passion, involvement, and commitment of everyone in the business to drive increasing levels of satisfaction for all stakeholders and excellence in everything they do. Very well deserved recognition!
