Phoenix Futures, a charity and housing association providing services for people affected by substance misuse, has successfully retained its 5-star EFQM Recognised for Excellence (R4E) following a rigorous assessment.
James Armstrong, Director of Marketing and Innovation said:
We are thrilled to have retained the Recognised for Excellence 5* accreditation this month. Although the assessment was a challenging and rigorous process, we were able to gain powerful insight into the process of continuous improvement. Every assessment helps us get better and in return helps us to help our beneficiaries get better.
The Lead Assessor added:
The assessor team is delighted that Phoenix Futures has successfully retained its Recognised for Excellence 5* level following its recent assessment. The organisation has continued to make progress in all of the Excellence Model criteria and improve on its score. The assessors noted particularly the inspirational and focused leadership flowing through the organisation and the passion shown by all staff in working to support people who are in recovery from substance and alcohol misuse. The work which the organisation is successfully delivering in prisons, in communities and residential housing is role model. There is a clear determination to help reduce the stigma which surrounds this subject and Phoenix is leading efforts to achieve this aim.
