Starting out with the EFQM Excellence Model

EFQM Committed to Excellence

Committed to ExcellenceEFQM Committed to Excellence is an assessment and recognition scheme that will help your organisation to deliver better results.

It is also an action-based learning project that entails identifying, prioritising and implementing improvement projects using the EFQM Excellence Model and RADAR logic.

Validation or Assessment?

There are now two ways to apply: Project Validation and Assessment.

Committed to Excellence: Project ValidationThe Project Validation option is an entry-level route for organisations with little or no experience and require a simple way to get started.

Successful applicants will be awarded EFQM Committed to Excellence 1* status.

Committed to Excellence: Assessment The Assessment option is for organisations which are ready for a more rigorous approach, and features a site visit conducted by two EFQM Assessors against the Model.

Depending on the overall score achieved, applicants will be awarded either EFQM Committed to Excellence 1* or 2* status.

You will get constructive feedback from an experienced external source on your improvement projects and the results they achieved. This feedback can help focus further improvement activity and serve as an input for business planning.

Committed to ExcellenceCertification

EFQM Committed to Excellence certification is valid for two years and, if successful, your organisation will be listed on both our Directory of Excellence and EFQM's Levels of Excellence database. You will also able to use the appropriate logo to promote your accomplishment.
