In today’s Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous environment, the need for effective and rapid transformational change has arguably become business’ greatest challenge. How can this be achieved successfully whilst meeting the daily demands of running the operation and taking care of our customers? Doing nothing is not an option!

What you will learn:

This workshop will provide a review of the latest thinking for all types of change, with a particular focus on accelerated transformation in terms of culture change, leadership behaviours, and structures and systems which enable that change to be effective, rapid and sustainable.

What the workshop will include:

  • Why we need change management.
  • Discussion of key change and transformation management models.
  • Reviewing the Kotter Accelerate Model with the 8 accelerators, the dual system approach, the ‘big opportunity’ and servant leadership.
  • Selecting the right approach and assessing readiness for change.

Presenter Note

Chris Merriman is a senior business leader and consultant with broad and international experience of transforming profitability in both the manufacturing and service sectors. He is passionate about helping organisations drive sustainable performance improvement and achieve their strategic objectives by applying change management, leadership coaching, and principle-based organisational culture change expertise. Chris has led Lean Six Sigma deployments at Honeywell, Sun Microsystems and Unisys and has also held leadership positions in Manufacturing Management, Supplier Development, and as Global Director for Quality and Customer Experience.
