In today’s Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous environment, the need for effective and rapid transformational change has arguably become business’ greatest challenge. How can this be achieved successfully whilst meeting the daily demands of running the operation and taking care of our customers? Doing nothing is not an option!

What you will learn:

This workshop will provide a review of the latest thinking for all types of change, with a particular focus on accelerated transformation in terms of culture change, leadership behaviours, and structures and systems which enable that change to be effective, rapid and sustainable.

What the workshop will include:

  • Why we need change management.
  • Discussion of key change and transformation management models.
  • Reviewing the Kotter Accelerate Model with the 8 accelerators, the dual system approach, the ‘big opportunity’ and servant leadership.
  • Selecting the right approach and assessing readiness for change.

Who should attend?

James Dwan, Catalyst Consulting
Presenter Note

James Dwan became an Agile practitioner in the very early days of Agile whilst working as a software developer at Experian. In 2004, he joined Markem-Imaje to help to transform their PC Software activity. In just a few months, the same team of developers who had never delivered on time delivered a quality product which customers loved one month ahead of schedule. By 2008, he had led Scrum adoption across the entire group and by 2010 introduced Agile to printer hardware development leading to results described by the Executive Committee as the “the new reference for all programmes in the company to follow”. He went on to apply the same approaches beyond technology projects to deploy strategy across the business before joining Catalyst in 2017 where he is helping customers accelerate improvement through Agile practice.
