Originally seen as something solely for Silicon Valley start-ups, Eric Ries’ Lean Start-up has rapidly become regarded as a step-change in 21st century management thinking. In this introduction we will explore the waste caused by legacy failure achievement metrics (on time, to budget, on spec) and learn how by separating out facts from assumptions, we can form hypotheses and employ the “Build, Measure, Learn” learning cycle to foster a spirit of rapid empirical experimentation so we can maximise organisational effectiveness by pivoting our way to success. Hosted by James Dwan from Catalyst Consulting Ltd  on Tuesday 1 September.
