Awards Ceremony

15 March 2018

2018 marks our 25 year Anniversary.

That’s 25 years since we began supporting organisations of all sizes and sectors to improve and become beacons of business excellence.

In the spirit of continuous improvement we’ve made some big changes to our annual UK Excellence Awards.

New processes, new categories and new approaches to applying will bring more exciting opportunities for your organisation to showcase a commitment to change, continuous improvement and employee development across the whole organisation.

And for the first time, we are introducing two Business Improvement and Transformation Leadership Awards, one for emerging leaders and one for established leaders that recognise individuals who have made an exceptional contribution within their organisation.

We’d love to take you with us into 2018 so register your interest today and keep up to date with UK Excellence Awards news and updates.

New Venue

To celebrate our 25th Anniversary milestone, and in line with our own continuous improvement journey the event in March 2018 is taking place at one of London’s most dramatic and historic venues, Guildhall. It promises to be bigger and better, more engaging and innovative.

New Process

Following feedback from previous applicants we’ve reviewed and refined the application process.

  • You can now submit your full entry online.
  • You have more time to apply. Entries open on 11 April 2017 and close 31 October 2017.
  • We’ve provided detailed guidelines and an example submission to make it easier for you to apply.
  • Detailed FAQs are available to help answer any questions you have.
  • We also have a dedicated Awards team on hand to help you throughout the process.

New Categories

We wanted to shake things up a bit, break with tradition, change direction… so we’ve:

  • Redeveloped the Achievement Awards – they are now the Innovation Awards.
  • An Innovation in Diversity and Equality category has been added.
  • And, for the first time we introduce two Business Improvement and Transformational Leader categories.

What does Innovation mean?

The application of better solutions that meet new requirements, unarticulated needs or existing market needs. Something original and more effective that creates value to any organisation and adds value for stakeholders.
