Baljit has spent over 10 years specialising in issues to do with diversity, inclusion and equality. She works with private and public sector organisations so they can become:
- representative of the customers and communities they serve, and
- inclusive by fulfilling every employee’s need to feel valued and respected
Baljit has experience of delivering equality audits (reviewing policies from a diversity and inclusion perspective), consultancy (strategic planning to delivering operational changes) and training (employment and customer service aspect). She delivers innovative training and consultancy interventions with particular expertise in unconscious bias; inclusive leadership, inclusive recruitment, talent management approaches, reasonable adjustments, cultural competence, equality data monitoring and banter workshops.
As a Board member of Midlands Women in Banking and Finance and steering group member of East Midlands Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS), Baljit is keen to see organisations anchor diversity in their corporate culture and talent management approaches.
