The Lean Six Sigma Academy's training programmes are run by experienced Lean and Six Sigma trainers and consultants, using training materials that have been developed in cooperation with leading providers.
They offer numerous case studies and examples drawn from service, business process, and manufacturing applications. The courses are designed with a heavy practice orientation, and as much as half of the trainee's time can be spent working through interactive practice exercises and online assessments.
Upon completion of these courses, delegates will be able to:
A tailored approach to training can often work out to be more cost-effective than open market training. Costs will be determined by the number of employees involved and the level of support required. For more details about in-house training please contact us.
The Academy's open market Lean Six Sigma training programme has been carefully designed to meet the needs of organisations building up their training experience.
How does it work?
The programme can train you to Green Belt (Foundation or Advanced), or Black Belt levels.
Each is made up of the following modules as indicated:
| Module | Number of days |
Green Belt | Advanced Green Belt |
Black Belt |
| Foundation Green Belt | 4 | |||
| Statistics 1 | 3 | n/a | ||
| Statistics 2 | 3 | n/a | ||
| Black Belt Advanced Tools | 3 | n/a | n/a | |
| Effective Change Management and Change Agent Skills |
3 | n/a | n/a |
You can choose the dates that suit you best for each module, as long as the Foundation Green Belt and Statistics ones are taken sequentially. Effective Change Management and Change Agent Skills may be taken at any time, and is also available as a stand-alone course.
We also offer a Lean Six Sigma Awareness Day course which provides a comprehensive understanding of the background, principles and fundamentals of Lean Six Sigma.
We can refresh and upgrade the skills of existing Six Sigma practitioners. A popular option is upgrading from Green Belt to Black Belt. In each case, this would involve taking on the additional modules to make up the next level.
BQF Certification exams (two hours for Green Belt and four hours for Black Belt, both open-book) are optional. The Green Belt exam can be sat on the final day of the Foundation Green Belt course or later at an assessment day, while the Black Belt exam can only be taken at an assessment day.
Becoming BQF Certified formally demonstrates that you have reached a recognised level of achievement in your projects, and your success is acknowledged by Europe's largest corporate membership organisation for performance, improvement and excellence.
All fees are per delegate and exclude VAT. They include comprehensive training materials with lunch and refreshments (lunch, teas, coffees etc) but not overnight accommodation however, which is available at a special rate.
Note: BQF members enjoy a 10% discount on all training fees.
