Introduction
The UK Excellence Award (UKEA) was launched in 1994 to recognise organisations which have excelled when measured against a framework of excellence, the Excellence Model.
The Model is used successfully throughout Europe and beyond as a rigorous external structure to examine an organisation's current capability.
UKEA is the highest accolade to be gained nationally, ideal for organisations progressing from internal assessment, through their regional Award process, and
ultimately gaining national recognition. The application process provides invaluable detailed feedback to all applicants to help on their journey to Excellence.
The three main aims of the Awards are to:
Assist organisations to improve
Identify role models to demonstrate what can be achieved
Recognise those who have shown exceptional ability and performance in the management of their organisation.
The UK Excellence Award - presented annually to organisations that are deemed, by our specially
trained assessors and independent jury, to be the very best in the country.
The BQF Achievement Awards will also be given at our prestigious awards ceremony for outstanding
performance in the areas of:
Leadership
Process Management
Partnership Development
Employee Satisfaction
Customer Satisfaction
Considerable public accolade as well as increased opportunities for advertising and promotional activities
have provided organisations recognised by the BQF, with new customers, improved customer perceptions
and pride and recognition for employees.
