Attaining Excellence means learning from other organisations, both different and similar

Networking Groups

Networking groupsWe run a series of networking groups for professionals to meet, share best practice and find out about the latest developments.

Each group focuses on a particular aspect of performance improvement or industry sector:

Built Environment

Business Continuity

Customer Experience

EFQM Excellence Model User Group

Innovation Unit

Lean Six Sigma

Sustainable Development

The groups host regular events where delegates explore ideas and hear from guest speakers. These events are a combination of structured learning and networking, and provide the opportunity to meet others facing similar challenges and learn from their experiences.

Run by BQF members, they are held across the UK, often hosted by an organisation which has relevant experience or expertise.

The groups provide a platform for debate and the sharing of ideas around topical themes. They welcome attendees from both member and non-member organisations. Employees of BQF member organisations benefit from a discounted delegate rate.

Who can attend?

Anyone who works for a member organisation may attend at the member rate. Additionally, we welcome people from non-member organisations who are considering joining the BQF and would like to see the value they might get from attending events. The BQF offers members of the CQI a discount on the price of networking group places: please quote your membership number when booking your place.

What is a typical event?

Each networking group hosts regular half-day events where delegates will hear from guest speakers presenting case studies and sharing their experiences. Facilitated sessions follow each presentation allowing delegates to explore ideas and experiences related to the event topic. In addition there are always plenty of opportunities to make useful contacts and network with other like-minded delegates.

Meetings are held throughout the UK and hosted, where possible, by a member organisation who may have expertise or experience in a particular area.

The subject of the meetings is decided by a steering committee of member organisations within the relevant field. We always ask for and welcome any topic suggestions or expert speakers.
