Fraudulent Emails Offering UN Cash Aid

The BQF has received a number of enquiries regarding unsolicited emails which are apparently offering substantial UN Foundation Cash aid.

These emails are not genuine and do not originate from the BQF.

We strongly advise you not to respond to these emails, and under no circumstances to provide any bank details or send any money to those behind this attempted scam.

Mr Timothy E. Wirth

These individuals are not known to and do not represent the BQF.

The telephone and fax numbers mentioned in these messages usually carry the prefix 44 7 or 07 - these are not BQF telephone numbers.

Our main telephone number is +44 207 654 5000, our fax number is +44 207 654 5001 and all of our numbers are London based beginning with 020 7654 xxxx from the UK or +44 20 7654 xxxx from outside the UK.

The email addresses used in the messages usually relate to a web based mail server such as gmail, hotmail, yahoo. The BQF does not use this sort of email account. All genuine BQF email will use our addresses which are in the format name@bqf.org.uk
