Networking Groups
The BQF runs a variety of networking groups, at which members can
meet together to share good practice and hear about the latest developments from
expert speakers. Members can attend as many meetings as they wish. Just click on
the links below to find out more about any groups which interest you. If you
would like our help in setting up a new group for a sector that isn't already on
the list please send an email or call on 020

Who Can Attend? Anybody who works for an organisation
that is a member of the Foundation may attend, irrespective of where the head
office may be based. Member organisations may send anyone appropriate to
the subject that is being discussed.
Additionally, we welcome people from non-member organisations who would like
to see for themselves the value they might get from attending events, before
they consider joining the British Quality Foundation.
What does a typical event look like? Events are
structured as sharing and learning opportunities, focusing on particular aspects
of managing for excellence. The selection of topics is arrived at in
consultation with members to ensure they remain relevant.
A typical event contains a brief theoretical input looking at what one might
find happening in excellent organisations. This would be followed by
presentations from one or two members or guest speakers with experience in a
topic area – focusing on how they did it, what went well and less well and key
learnings. There would be time to exchange views and establish useful
contacts for later.
What do Attendees get out of Networking Events?
- A bit of theory mixed with practical insights on what has been implemented
elsewhere
- Networking and learning from experience
- Useful contacts with other people facing the same challenges
- Contribute to Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
- Guest speakers
