The Lean Six Sigma Award is a great opportunity for organisations to win recognition for the work that their Lean Six Sigma and business excellence professionals are delivering to customers, shareholders and other key stakeholders.
Previous winners include BAA (Heathrow), Network Rail and Royal Mail.
Entry is simpleComplete the registration form and then submit a description of the project using no more than 1,500 words (a template will be provided), and up to 10 Powerpoint slides.
Individuals or project teams from UK-based organisations of any size and sector may enter, and more than one entry per organisation is permitted.
Closing date for entries is Friday 1 June 2012.
Judging processThe judging panel will look primarily at the methodology used and the results achieved, rather than organisational transformation or the scale of the project.
They will carry out an initial assessment of each entry and use the following criteria to assess entries:
On the basis of their findings, the panel then select finalists for the Award. These organisations will be invited to make a more detailed presentation about their project. Following this, the panel may choose a winner.
