BQF Gold Medal for ExcellenceThe BQF Gold Medal for Excellence recognises organisations with outstanding continued commitment to sustained excellence over a number of years.

It has been awarded annually since 2008 by the BQF Board and is presented at the UK Excellence Awards ceremony every October.

The Probation Service2011 Winner: The Probation Service

The Probation Service comprises of 35 independent trusts, annually supervising a caseload of some 247,000 offenders. Their successful pursuit of continuous improvement has confirmed that they are on the right path to achieving and sustaining excellence and potentially to being the best providers of these essential services.
